I cannot believe I have not been here before now! I have been missing out on the best ice cream in the world! The owner happened to be in while I was there and explained that they make all the ice cream there every day, and that they are always replacing old flavors with new ones as they invent them! I started with a medium cup and had Roasted Marshmallow, Caramel and chocolate! SOOOO GOOD, I didn't know when I would be back, and forced myself to eat another cup, this time with raspberry, mango and lemon! OHHHHHH WOWOW!!!!!! I have been back twice in the past 3 days!

Hollywood is the best. And not just in TO. That stuff will hold up in Italy.

I took an Italian friend who had just done what she called a "gelato tour" of Italy and she said Hollywood's stuff was as good or better than most of the places she tried.

i'm not a big fan of bayview village, but i'll put up with it to have the peanut butter chocolate or valrhona dark chocolate gelato at this place...it's amazing! i usually prefer ice cream over gelato but this is creamy and delicious.

Made my visit a few hours ago. While not inexpensive it is well worth it. Great stuff.
The mars bar is one of my favourite as well as the Rocky Roche. Also the Mango flavour is intense.
My favourite fruit flavour besides the berry ones is their kiwi.. it tastes so fresh. Sadly they don't make it very often but when it's there I always order it.

I have been to La Paloma in Woodbridge. The gelato is good, but I don't think it's worth the drive out there (if you don't live close to it). I would rather go to Hollywood Gelato.

The S.O. and I went to Hollywood Gelato on Saturday for the first time. She had the Rocky Roche, and Lemon gelato. I asked the server for her choices, and she recommended the Key Lime Pie and the Rocky Roche.

I don't know how to describe the gelato here.... INCREDIBLE 'might' do it justice! Better than any gelato or ice cream I've eaten. The S.O. agreed, and she is an ice cream fanatic. I personally do not like the milkiness of most ice creams, and due to this, I usually stick with gelato or sorbet.

The Rocky Roche had an enormous amount of crunchy hazelnuts and pieces of chocolate. The gelato itself tasted just like Ferrero Roche in gelato form. Delicious. It didn't taste like gelato that wanted to taste like Roche, it tasted exactly like it.

The Key Lime Pie was good, but I will try something else next time. Lots of pieces of pie crust and a nice subtle lime flavour to the gelato. It wasn't quite as decadent as the Roche, but it would be a nice light gelato in the summer.

If you haven't been here, you must drop what you are doing and go now!... and please pick me up some Rocky Roche!
