This is a favorite Korean dish for me. Naeng myun refers to the noodles made of buckwheat. Mul means water and refers to the generous cold soup.

Although this is a really easy dish to assemble, getting all the vegetables together takes work.

The radish is daicon with seedless red pepper flakes, a small amount of vinegar, salt, and crushed sesame seeds and sesame seed oil.

The cucumber is thinly sliced and pickled with seedless red pepper flakes, salt, garlic, minced green onion, a small amount of vinegar, and sesame seed oil.

The beef is thinly sliced sirloin, boiled in water, soy sauce, and beef broth.
