Black Forest Brownies

Recipe:
3 tablespoon vegetable margarine
4 oz plain soy yogurt
1 cup raw sugar
Egg Replacer for 2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup dried cherries
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients but cherries together- batter will be somewhat stiff. Add cherries and spread in “greased” 9 x 9 pan; bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done. Cut when cooled. Makes 15 plus depending how you cut them.
Ice these with your favorite chocolate buttercream and decorate with cherry candied pecans.
Candied Pecans:
1 cup whole pecans
3 tsp raw sugar
1 tbsp cherry juice
Spread pecans on cookie sheet and drizzle with juice and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 275 degrees for 8 minutes then cool.
