Sweet!
1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1 teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon cloves
½ teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
¼ cup vegetable margarine
¾ cup raw sugar + more for sprinkling
Replacer for 1 egg
¼ cup agave syrup
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Sift together the flour, baking soda, spices and salt; set aside.
Beat the margarine and sugar in large bowl of an electric mixer on high about 1 minute. Add the replacer and agave; mix well. Add the flour mixture and combine.
Roll dough into balls and then roll in a little more sugar so they are coated. Arrange on baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Bake until set, 9 to 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool.
About 3 dozen.
**If you like, dust with powdered sugar instead of rolling in sugar. You may dust or roll both before and after baking.
