Share on TwitterBehind Beijing's main toy market, near the Temple of Heaven in the inner south, a new street food market has recently appeared. I can never resist freshly prepared Beijing spicy noodles. The lady told me it was okay to take a picture of her, but she studiously avoided looking into my lens!
The noodles were absolutely delicious, by the way (she is pictured serving my lunch). Cost: five kuai (US$0.67).
