Homemade Wakame Salad

After trying the readymade frozen Chuka Wakame Salad I decided I wanted to make this myself. Only to find out that there is wakame and there is wakame. :-)
Above you see the fronds/leaves which are thin, like slippery spinach. But in the frozen salad they use kuki-wakame, the stems of the wakame! Much different. More crunch and resistance.

The above salad of the leaves was still nice though! But different then what I first expected.
