The lunchbucket is dead; Long live the lunchbucket!
Mr. Bento (the can in back-left) has served nicely as a lunch bucket for the last year, but being made of steel it was doomed to start rusting on the inside, and one of the latches holding on the lid broke some time ago.
But the containers Mr. Bento has are still in good shape; what I'll be doing is using various among them with this Sigg box one of my friends got me for Christmas.
It even fits in Mr. Bento's bag.
Upsides of the Sigg box, versus Mr. Bento: it's amazingly light, feels sturdy for its weight, won't rust, and being rectangular can contain a sandwich without resorting to trickery. It does not maintain temperature inside without extra insulation, but it's debatable that the Mr. B. shell was meaningfully better at this.
