Share on TwitterOne of the Greek Orthodox churches held its annual festival this past weekend and I was happy to snag some dolmades to go. A legion of church ladies stuff and roll dozens of trays yet there are still never enough and I was so lucky to score six to go (I ate one on the way to the car and that left five for Ms. Bento -- I'm not sure six would have fit, anyway). The grape leaves come from local backyards and are filled with a mix of rice, lamb, and spices. They are worth standing in line in stuffy church halls for.
