He usually gets pretty similar foods when I pack them both at once.
Leftover frittata made with chicken and fire roasted red pepper sausage, with more red bell pepper, some serrano pepper, and rapini. This on top of a spicy garlic eggplant and shiitake mushroom stir-fry because after seeing Mahoutake's bento with it I knew I had to make it with the beautiful Japanese eggplants at the market.
The soup is storebought broccoli-potato touched up with garlic on one and red pepper flakes on the other, for a little flavor variation.
The salads are very simple, from a nice mix from the market, topped with Armenian cucumbers, more red bells, and two different storebought dressings. The edible flowers came with the salad mix.
The fruit is applesauce with raisins and macadamia nuts in one, and dried cranberries and walnuts in the other.
