We went back to that Vietnamese restaurant in Soho. I chose this - the Bun Bo Hue - a spicy noodle soup with rice vermicelli. According to Wikipedia, this dish originated in the Royal (Hue) City of Central Vietnam. Too bad it wasn't very spicy and I had to constantly reach over for the bottle of sriracha on the table!
I think there was a lot of MSG in the broth - we were quite thirsty afterwards.
This much I have to say for the restaurant: the food is good but the waiter there is a jerk.
