So here's how it goes...
- Get yourself some steak and cut it up into strips. Then make yourself some marinade. For this I used stuff I had on hand: fresh garlic, teriyaki sauce, olive oil, honey, ground black pepper, worcestershire sauce, a pinch of brown sugar and some rum. Then let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- When your ready to start cooking gather up some veggies you like. I used; bell peppers, yellow onion, snow peas, water chestnuts and bean sprouts. Put a little olive oil in a large skillet and add the onion and peppers and let them cook for a bit. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
- Next add teriyaki sauce, red wine vinegar and honey to the pan. Mix it up and add your meat (discard the marinade) stir often. When your meat has browned to your liking add the cooked onion and pepper back to the pan along with the water chestnuts, snow peas and sprouts. Cook a bit longer to let the flavors come together adding black pepper as you see fit.
- Lastly serve it over some brown rice accompanied by your favorite drink and favorite person. Enjoy!
