The window is held at an angle by 1x2 brick hinges at its base, and a hinged 4x4 plate serves as the roof. This also gives access to removing or adjusting the minifig operator. The vehicle is symmetrical front-to-back, so "front" means whichever end has a minifig in it :-) Both ends are equipped with magnet hitches, but no buffers, suggesting American operations.
