rice pilaf is boxed and delicious.
Roasted Vetables
parboil cubed potatoes
sliced carrots on the bias thinly
sautee onions until soft
Combine potatoes, carrots, onions, green beans (straight from the garden) in a boil. Add garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, fresh herbs like thyme and rosemary and oregeno. Stir and pour onto cookie sheet. Put into pre-heated 425 degree oven for about 45 minutes. Will probably need to stir once to keep green beans from getting too wrinkled.
There really is nothing better than a plate full of roasted vegetables.
