Maple Pecan Blondies

And here is the recipe:
1 cup sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup vegetable margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
Egg replacer for 1 egg
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/8 cup maple sugar/syrup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Sift flour, add baking powder, baking soda and salt. Sift again. Add chopped nuts. Mix well and set aside.
Melt margarine. Add brown sugar and maple -- mix well. Add replacer and vanilla extract. Blend well. Add flour mixture, a little at a time, mixing well. Drop onto greased cookie sheet using a small ice cream scoop. Bake for 12-15 minutes until slightly browned along the edges.
Makes 16 cookies.
