Sweet red peppers roasted and tossed with tasty blackened orzo- onion, file, garlic, olive,and peppery lemon spices blended together to tantalize your palate!
One of those quick, hurry up and get it on the table meals made easy.

Recipe:
1 red pepper, roasted, seeded and sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ c. chopped parsley
¾ tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. black pepper
½ tsp file powder
2 c. cooked orzo
2-3 green onions, chopped
¼ c. chopped black olive
Juice of 1 lemon
3 tbsp EVOO

Heat Evoo in cast iron skillet. Add onion and garlic- sauté. Add rest of ingredients except for the red peppers and cook over a medium low heat- allow the orzo to begin to stick a bit and then scrap up and continue to stir every so often until the mixture is done. Add the red pepper and heat completely.
Serves 3-4 as side.
