This is a batch of uncooked vegan meatballs just before I start frying them up. They are so good! My partner John loves these and he doesn't like fake meat! I use them for meatball s sandwiches, spaghetti and meatballs and baked ziti.

To make:

2 lb litelife breakfast sausage
1 lb litelife ground beef style
1 lb litelife smart ground
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons oregano
2 tablespoons tony's all purpose seasoning
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 tablespoons paprika
1 teaspoon ground star anise seed
1 teaspoon ground fennel seed

Throw all the ingredients into a big bowl and mix with your hands as if you were kneeding for meatloaf. Spray your hands with oil and start rolling into approximately 1 inch balls. Fry in 1/2 inch of vegetable oil and turn once after first half browns.

They freeze well and they don't break up when you put them in things. A really great meatball. I served them to a building full of omnivores for my office christmas party (in a crock pot with barbque sauce and onion relish) and everybody raved about them and couldn't believe that they weren't meat.
