roll out puff pastry base, fold in edges (0.5cm on each side), twist corners, cut plums and figs, arrange on the base, tuck small bits of marzipan between the fruit. bake for 25 minutes at 200C. when done, brush pastry edges with marmalade or jam.
tip: when plums are in season, cut them in halfs and place on the base skin-down. In winter, cut plums into wedges and scatter over the base every-which-ever way
