1 lb ground chuck
1 medium onin, chopped
1 15oz can of diced tomatoes
1 8oz can tomato sauce
4 bay leaves
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp basil
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
8 oz pasta (I used Mostaccioli)
Grated Parmesan for topping
Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add the meat and onion. Cook until brown and crumbly. Drain. Stir in undrained tomatoes and tomatao sauce.
Add the bay leaves, oregano, thyme, baskil and Worcestershire sauce to pan. Bring to a simmer and then cover. Cook for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Serve the sauce over the pasta and top with the Parmesan.
I made a couple of changes. I used about 4 oz tomato paste and added some red wine in place of the tomtato sauce, which I didn't have. I also added some salt at the end. I've made this before and it always turns out quite tasty, and this was no exception
