Simple stuff is best. Crispy on the outside, fluffly and soft in the inside.
Floury potatos work better (of the baking type)
Recipe
- Peel and cut the potatos in big chunks
- Part-boil the potatos for 5-7 min (the inside will be still hard)
- While the potatos are boiling ,put a tray with some oil in a very hot oven
- When the potatos are done, drain the water, shake them inside the pan (to break the outside of the potatos), and add salt. Shake them again.
- When the oil is hot, coat the potatos with the hot oil and put them back in the very hot oven till they roast, turn them around often till they go nice and crispy.
