3 X 75cl de bon vin rouge / 3 bottles of good red wine
25 cl d'alcool de fruits (ou alcool à 90° à la rigueur) / 9 oz fruits alcohol (brandy)
500 g de sucre / 1 pound caster sugar
Dans une bonbonne mélanger le vin, l'alcool et le sucre / In a carboy, mix wine, alcohol and sugar
Couper les noix en 4 / Cut the walnuts in 4 pieces
Les ajouter au mélange / Add it to the liquid
Laisser macérer 6 mois en remuant le mélange chaque mois / Let steep during 6 months and stir every month
Filtrer et mettre en bouteilles / Filter and pour in bottles
Boire en apéritif avec modération / Drink this aperitif with moderation...
