Cherry Monkey Bread

How fleeting cherry season is! The Rainiers are all gone, and the Bings are slowly disappearing from the market. This may be the last cherry recipe of the season. :(
-biscuit dough - I used canned
-1/4 pint cherries, pitted
-2 tbsp butter
-tsp cinnamon
-tbsp brown sugar, w/ extra for topping
Roll biscuit dough into small balls and arrange close together and piled on top of each other in a small casserole dish. Blend cherries, butter, cinnamon and brown sugar, and pour over dough, coating each ball as much as possible. (It may help to melt the butter first.) Sprinkle extra brown sugar on top. Bake at 400 for about 18 minutes.
