Broccoli Asparagus & Tofu

The tofu fell apart with this recipe, but it still tasted pretty good.
1 lb tofu
1 lb broccoli
1 lb asparagus, cut to 1 1/2" pieces
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup water
salt
1/2 tsp sugar
Marinade for the tofu
1 Tbs rice vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp soy sauce
1 Tbs water
1 Tbs cornstarch
The Sauce, Part 1
2 Tbs oyster sauce
2 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs water
The Sauce, Part 2
1 tsp cornstarch
1 Tbs water
Marinate the tofu for 30 minutes.
Heat some oil in a pan. Add the tofu and brown. Drain and set aside.
Add the garlic, boccoli and asparagus to the pan. Sprinkle with some salt and the sugar. Add the water, cover and cook 4-5 minutes. Remove from pan and drain.
Put everything except for part 2 of the sauce back in the pan. Stir to combine. Then add part 2 and heat until the sauce thickens.
Serve over rice, noodles or just by itself.
