Vegan Mashed Plantains with Onions, Garlic and Pecans

I was feeling artsy one day and I wanted to cook. I had some plantains that needed to be eaten soon, so I peeled two, boiled them. While they were boiling I cut up half of a medium sized onion and minced two cloves of garlic., then sauteed them in a little olive oil. Then I mashed up the plantains added the onions and garlic and put it on a warmed pita. Then I added pecans (which really added a nice flavor).
