This was one of the starters at Chokhi Dhani. Bajre(Pearl Millet) ki roti is my favourite. The only way to eat this is by using a lot of butter and eating it fresh and hot. It becomes very difficult to eat once it gets cold. I know this because I used to make this almost every weekend when my parents were in Johannesburg(on the BBQ grill, closest I had to a choolha :P). The colder the weather, the more fun it is to make this.
Chokhi Dhani is a Rajasthani village theme restaurant. It is more of a cultural place rather than a regular restaurant. There are Rajasthani folk dance shows, camel rides etc. There is also a Rajasthani style house out there which they use to demonstrate how the life in the desert is like.
BTW, this place serves only vegetarian food.
