Mmmm. Quiche. Although technically not really a breakfast, we had this for breakfast anyway the morning of Day 3. It was too easy to make.
Ingredients:
- frozen pie crust
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup cream, half and half or whole milk
- cheese
- spinach (frozen okay, but it must be bone dry)
- ham cubes
We got this off a Good Eats episode. You can put anything in it you'd like, just fill the pie crust with whatever you'd like to go in about 2/3 high. Mix the eggs and cream together and pour into the crust. Put into a 350 degree oven for about 45-50 minutes or until it's firmed up.
We used frozen spinach and it was a pain in the ass to dry it off. If I ever put spinach in again it will be fresh or it's not going in.
