Sooo good!!!!
Very easy to make.
Pecan Bars: Recipe courtesy of Kathy A
Preheat oven to 375º
Shortbread crust:
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
Cream these 2 ingredients together.
Add; 2 cups flour
Knead dough until smooth. Press into 9"X13" pan.
Pecan Filling:
5 Tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup packed, brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups pecans
Mix all ingredients. Pour on top of shortbread crust and bake for 40-45
minutes.
Cut into bars while still warm and refridgerate for a few hours or overnight.
