Sweet and simple.
Take a few slices of bacon and chop it up some. Place these into the hot pan and let it cook for a few minutes. Stir it around so it doesn't stick. Crush some cloves of garlic and throw them in when the bacon. Just slightly roast the garlic so the flavor comes out. If you like it hot, some hot peppers should go in now as well. Chop up some onions and throw these in as well.
After you let this concoction cook for a minute or so, put in any other spices you might want. I just put in a bit of thyme. Now, open up a can of diced tomatoes and pour in the goodness. Put in some capers right afterwards, and some basalmic vinegar if you like. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes, and then serve with your pasta.
