Acorn Squash
1 acorn squash
2Tbs butter
1Tbs maple syrup
1Tbs brown sugar
1tsp thyme
1/2tsp garlic powder or minced fresh garlic
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 425. Cut acorn squash in half and de-seed. Place halves in lightly oiled baking dish (cut some off back if not steady). In one half place half butter, maple syrup and brown sugar in center. In other half place remaining butter and herbs in center. Bake for about an hour.
Served with Morningstar Farms Chick'n Tenders, green salad and sparkling mineral water.
