These are untraditional Hanukka doughnuts. They're usually made with no cocoa and filled with jam, but these I made chocolate flavoured.
It's really easy:
500g bread flour
300ml milk
1 egg
50g melted butter
30g cocoa powder (3 tbsp.)
1 cup sugar
a little salt
20g dry yeast

Mix it all for 12 minutes using the dough hook of your mixer, and leave covered until the mixture doubles its size.
Then make little balls out of the mixture and insert little high quality chocolate pieces in each ball (100-150g of chocolate broken into little pieces will do).
There should be between 15-20 little balls.
leave on some pergament paper for an hour and let the balls double their size.

Fry each ball from both sides for a few seconds and let dry.
It's also possible to bake the balls for 12-14 minutes in a 180 degrees oven.

melt 50g of butter
mix 1 tbsp. cocoa powder, 1 tsp. cinnamon powder and 50g sugar

Brush each baked/fried ball with melted butter, and dip in the mixture of cocoa, cinnamon and sugar.

That's it. Be sure to eat when still hot for best results...
