Share on TwitterYou really should look at the large size (or even original size) at the details captured. This is just an 8MPx entry-level DSLR on a used sigma lens :-)
I love how the flash didn't blow out the details on the blade. You can still see the grinding marks on the blade, as well as the honed edge, and the hammer forge-marks which was left intact by the blade smith.
Strobist: Canon Speedlight 580EX II @ full power on light stand, shooting through a white shoot-through umbrella. I basically nuked this with light so I can use as small an aperture as possible (f20)
