A recipe from the "Jamie's Kitchen" cook book. Of course I did not quite stick to the recipe. We didn't have all the ingredients - as usual.

Dice a carrot, some celeriac, garlic and a red onion. Fry some. Add a few fresh herbs, salt and pepper. Add some sausages (3 big ones for example - cut into bite size pieces), fry some more. Add some dried porcini and mushrooms. Fry still some more. Add red wine and the water you should have soaked the porcini in. Reduce some then add a can of tomatoes and reduce even more. Add half a can of your favorite type of bean. Put some pieces of bread - tossed with thyme, olive oil and coarse sea salt - on top of all that and put in the oven for 45-60 min at 200°C till the bread has a nice golden color. Eat. Should be plenty for 2 verrrry hungry people and still enough for 3.

The photos did not turn out too good, but the food was great!
