Roasted Pine Nut Basil Pesto

I made pesto :)
and I was sober...
the last time we attempted to make pesto we were so plastered it was basically just oil & garlic and a few basil leaves... anyhows...
Larry brought home a bag of pasta and a jar of pesto and the fixings for pesto and gave me the option of trying to make it myself or using the jar
I took the make it myself option
I really need to get a food processor

Ok
So this is basically
1 cup of decent olive oil
roughly 1/3 cup of grated parmesan cheese (i used maybe 1/2 cup)
3 cups of roughly torn basil leaves (i used the whole bunch - not the stalks though)
roasted pine nuts (roast for about 5-10 minutes)
3 cloves garlic

I also added:
3 spring onions
chilli
I <3 chilli

I did also have photos the pasta pesto but stainless steel :-/
the photos are crap...
