Turkey tandoori flavored burger, with rosemary roasted potatoes.
Recipe-
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 lb ground turkey
1/2 tablespoon Tandoori seasoning
1 tsp curry paste or powder
Sprinkle of fish sauce
Squeeze of lemon
1 egg
Handful of bread crumbs, panko preferred.
Mix all wet ingredients, mixture will be very wet. Add handful of panko crumbs, or just until it comes together. Form individual burgers.
Cook until brown, flip, brown again.
With heat at medium, pour in broth, cover and cook 8 minutes until done, checking to insure burgers do not stick. They will puff up! This is the magic of covering with broth. Dreamy, cloud-puff soft burgers of weightlessness!
Remove lid, check for done-ness, and reduce liquid, flipping burgers once.
Add cheese of your fancy, or not, serve on buns with a dollop of sour cream. In this image, we've used ciabatta bread. Mmm.
Roasted potatoes are simple - quarter young red potatoes, skin on, cover with approx 1 tbs olive oil, touch of lemon juice, sprinkle of basil, savory, and rosemary dried seasonings, touch of salt & pepper, roast for 20mins, turning once, in a 450 degree oven.
