Shot for the Nikon d40/x/d60 weekly challenge: What you had at lunch.
Salmorejo, a gazpacho-like dish, but thicker.
As a bonus, the recipe:
1 kg ripe tomatoes
2-3 garlic cloves
1 spoon salt
200 gr old bread (1-2 days old)
30 g vinegar
150 g olive oil
Boiled egg
Cured ham
Process tomatoes, garlic and salt in a food processor. Puree it. Add bread and vinegar and puree it again. Finally add slowly olive oil, don't set the processor too fast, you want the final blend to be more or less like mayo texture!
Serve cold, very cold with some sprinkled boiled egg and cured ham on top.
